OBM International Trade Services and Trade Consultants Australia are pleased to announce that they have combined their skills and resources to form one of Australia’s most formidable consultancies which specialises in Customs, indirect tax, R&D and trade related activities.

Guy Illy, the founder and principal of Trade Consultants Australia, has accepted a national role within the new arrangement, where he will continue to provide valuable support to our clients, based on his long association with Customs issues.

Responsibility for the operation of Trade Consultants WA, the Perth based subsidiary of Trade Consultants Australia, will be assumed by Antony Carlton, who has been with the company in a senior consulting role for over 4 years.

OBM considers that the combination of unique skills which reside within each company, together with the increased exposure through the geographic spread of their offices, will add significant strategic growth to OBM’s consulting business. It will provide an opportunity for an extension of the OBM service range into WA and the company will benefit in its other locations from utilising the Trade Consultants skills.
